The Arrogant girl
Once upon a time, there lived a girl in the village. She from rich family. As long as her life always spoiled with wealth. Her parents are proud because their daughter is not only beautiful, but also smart. That causes many people to be jealous. Maybe if the girl is a little humble, there must be a few who hate her. However, unfortunately the girl are not like that.
When the girl has finished her school with proud grades. Then her parents intend to send their daughter to a prestigious school in the country. This news was received by the girl happily.
"I can show this to my friends." said the girl softly with sparkling eyes.
The day before his departure, the girl had been bragging to her friends.
"Hey, tomorrow I'm going to town and go to the most popular school." She cheered. Her behavior made her friends hate even more.
For years the girl was in town, finally she returned. Before her return, a company offered her a job. But, she refused.
"I'm not willing to be an employee. I'm smart. I want a high position!"
"Besides, without work, my parents are rich." That is the reason for making him return to the village.
But when she arrived, what she found was chaos. The business managed by her parents went bankrupt. Her father became a gambler and a drunkard. While her mother is sickly. Until one night, her father came home drunk and angry at his daughter.
"You child is useless!"
He took a burning candle and then threw it towards the curtains.Instantly the fire lit. Creeped and grew bigger. The girl immediately ran out of the house asking for help. But too late. The fire had swallowed her parents first.
Finally the girl lived alone in a simple, shabby cottage. The house was built by people around because of pity. He felt ashamed of his fate. The arrogance that he was proud of now disappeared instantly.
"It turns out to be true, said the wise man. Pride can hurt oneself." said the girl regretfully.
